How We Complement Each Other In Marriage

One thing I delight to see displayed in my marriage is how we complement each other. The Bible instructs that the husbands and wives have complementary roles in marriage: As per Ephesians 5, a husband is to sacrificially love his wife and a wife is to sacrificially respect her husband.

    Pursuing Unity in Marriage

We believe pursuing unity in marriage is vital for a healthy and growing relationship. Without it, spouses will slowly start drifting apart. Their connection with each other will be weakened and their love for each other will be forgotten.

Life in the NICU – Meeting First Milestones

To wrap up our series, I’m highlighting a few of Rosie’s celebratory first milestones in the NICU. Rosie was born 8 weeks premature at 32 weeks. The NICU journey is all about meeting milestones. To graduate from the NICU at North York General, Rosie had to meet three requirements: A minimum weight of 1800g Be medically stable Feed orally through the breast and/or bottle. Along with these, Rosie met many other milestones along the way. Take a look at a few of Rosie’s “firsts” in the NICU. *This is PART 5 in our series recounting Rosie’s birth story (check out PART 1, PART 2, PART 3, and PART 4).

How God Sustained Us In The NICU

Our God sustains us by His truth. How God sustained us in the NICU, through the anxiety, uncertainty, and powerlessness, was no different. Though our faith was shaken and put under trial, our knowledge of God strengthened us to know how to process our situation and how to live through it. Here are 3 truths Eunice and I clung to during our baby’s time in the hospital: *This is a reflection of our NICU experience, you can find more on our adventure in PART 1, PART 2, & PART 3.

Life in the NICU – Six Emotions of an NICU Mom

Life in the NICU is an emotional rollercoaster for all parents. “You are handling everything so well” – is what everyone would say to me. Was I? Maybe, maybe not. I’m still not sure. This post is difficult for me to write. *This is PART 3 in our series recounting Rosie’s birth story (check out PART 1, and PART 2).
